There are currently two campuses in the University, East and West,  covering a total area of over 2000 mu (329.47 acres), with a building area of over 1 million square meters and a total investment of about 3.5 billion yuan. 

There are 46 experimental and training centers (comprehensive laboratories) with a total value of about 300 million yuan in teaching and research instruments and equipment. There are over 3.4501 million paper books and 1.9168 million electronic books in the Library collection, as well as 37 Chinese and foreign databases such as CNKI, Wanfang, EBSCO, etc. 

01、历史沿革  HISTORY OF ZZUIT

1997年学校创建

2008年升格为本科高校

2012年获学士学位授予权

2014年更名为“郑州工业应用技术学院”

2016年通过教育部本科教学工作合格评估

2021年获批河南省硕士学位授予立项建设单位

The University was founded in 1997 and upgraded to an undergraduate university in 2008. In 2012, it was granted the authority to confer bachelor’s degrees. In 2014, it was renamed "Zhengzhou University of Industrial Technology".

In 2016, it passed the Qualification Assessment of Undergraduate Teaching Work by the Ministry of Education. In 2021, it was approved as a construction unit for granting master’s degrees in Henan Province.

03、学科专业  MAJORS

学校不断优化学科专业布局，初步形成了以工学为主，工学、医学、管理学、经济学、艺术学、文学、教育学等多学科协调发展的学科专业布局。设有15个学院（部），本科专业49个。

The University continuously optimizes the layout of disciplines and majors, and has initially formed a discipline and major layout with engineering as the main focus, and coordinated development of multiple disciplines,such as engineening,medicine, management, economics, art, literature, and education. There are 15 colleges (departments) and 49 undergraduate majors. 

师资队伍  TEACHING STAFF

学校高度重视师资队伍建设，大力实施“人才强校”战略。现有折合专任教师2000余人。

The University attaches great importance to the construction of the teaching staff and vigorously implements the strategy of "Strengthening the School with Talents". Currently, there are more than 2,000 full-time teachers. 

04、人才培养  TALENT CULTIVATION

学校高度重视人才培养，秉承“唯实、求实、扎实”的“三实”精神，坚持应用型办学特色，人才培养稳步提升。现有全日制本专科在校生30000余人。学校面向全国招生，已为社会输送各类人才近20万人。

The University attaches great importance to talent cultivation, adheres to the "Three Practicalities"spirit of "truth-seeking, reality-based, and down-to-earth",insists on the application-oriented school-running characteristics,and the quality of talent cultivation has steadily improved. Currently, there are over 30,000 full-time undergraduate and junior college students. The University recruits students nationwide and has delivered nearly 200,000 talents of all kinds to society. 

05、科学研究  SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

学校持续实施“科学研究攀登工程”，科研创新能力不断提高，科研项目、学术论文、国家专利等主要科研指标均居全国民办高校前列。近三年，学校承担省部级以上科研项目210余项；发表各类核心论文413篇；出版著作90部，授权专利121项，专利转化192项；获得各类科研成果奖55项。

The University has been consistently implementing the "Scientific Research Climbing Project", with its scientific research and innovation capabilities constantly enhanced. The main scientific research indicators, such as scientific research projects, academic papers, and national patents, all rank among the leading positions among private colleges and universities nationwide. Over the past 3 years, the University has undertaken over 210 scientific research projects at or above the provincial and ministerial level. It has published 413 various core papers and 90 books. 121 invention patents have been authorized, and 192 patents have been converted.  Additionally, it has received 55 awards for various scientific research achievements.

06、社会服务  SOCIAL SERVICES

学校充分发挥区域优势，以服务地方经济和社会发展为宗旨，充分利用教育和人才资源优势，履行社会服务职能，连续20年参与拜祖大典、连续5年承办黄帝文化国际论坛，荣获河南省暑期“三下乡”社会实践活动优秀单位，多支团队被评为国家级、省级重点社会实践团队。同时，建有校企研发中心23个，开展产学研横向课题165项。

To serve the local economy and social development, the University gives full play to its regional advantages, makes full use of its advantages in education and talent resources, and fulfills its social service functions. It has participated in the Yellow Emperor Worship Ceremony for 20 consecutive years, and has hosted the International Forum on the Yellow Emperor Culture for 5 consecutive years. The school has been awarded the Excellent Unit in the"Three Visits to the Countryside"Social Practice Activity during the Summer Vacation in Henan Province, and many teams have been rated as national and provincial key social practice teams. Meanwhile, 23 school-enterprise research and development centers have been established, and 165 horizontal projects involving industry-university-research cooperation have been carried out.

国际交流 INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE

学校坚持开放办学，先后与美国、俄罗斯、加拿大、吉尔吉斯斯坦、韩国、意大利、马来西亚、菲律宾、泰国、蒙古国等国家高校建立联系，开展交流与合作。获批来华留学培养单位和省政府来华留学生奖学金培养单位，140多名来自俄罗斯、韩国、印度等20多个国家的留学生来校学习，培养了一批知华、友华、爱华的国际人才。

Adhering to the principle of open education, the University has established contacts with universities in the United States, Russia, Canada, Kyrgyzstan, South Korea, Italy, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand,Mongolia and other countries, carried out exchanges and cooperation, and signed cooperation agreements. The University is approved training units and provincial government scholarship training units for international students in China. More than 140 students who are from more than 20 countries such as Russia, South Korea, India have been studying in the school. A group of international talents who understand, friend and love China have been cultivated.

08、招生类别及授课语言 Categories of Enrollment and Languages of Instruction

（一）招生类别

汉语进修生、本科留学生（开设专业：计算机科学与技术、国际经济与贸易）

（二）授课语言

计算机科学与技术、国际经济与贸易专业采用英文授课；

汉语进修项目采用中文授课。

Ⅰ.Categories of Enrollment: Chinese Language Students, Bachelor's Degree Students（Majors：Computer Science and Technology, International Economics and Trade）.

Ⅱ.English shall be used as the language of instruction for the majors of Computer Science and Technology and International Economics and Trade.Chinese shall be adopted for  the Chinese Language Program.

09、申请条件  Application Requirements

（一）非中国籍公民，身心健康，无犯罪记录；

（二）遵守中国政府的法律法规，遵守学校的规章制度；

（三）学习态度端正，成绩优秀；

（四）学历和年龄要求：

1.学士本科项目申请人，须具有高中毕业以上学历，年龄一般不超过23周岁；

2.汉语进修生项目申请人，须具有高中以上学历或同等学历，年龄一般不超过25周岁；

（五）语言要求

申请中文授课专业的，攻读学士学位者，中文水平原则上至少达到汉语水平考试（HSK）四级。

Ⅳ.Educational background and age requirements:

    1. Applicants for the bachelor's degree program must have a high school diploma or above, and are generally not older than 23 years of age；

    2. Applicants for the Chinese language training program must have a high school diploma or equivalent education, and are generally not older than 25 years of age；

Ⅴ.Language requirements

    For applicants seeking to enroll in a Chinese-taught bachelor's degree program, the Chinese language proficiency should, in principle, meet at least at the level of HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) Level 4.

（二）护照首页（照片页）与来华签证页（若有来华经历）扫描件；

（三）经公证的最高学历证明；

（四）学习成绩单；

（五）年龄不满18岁的申请人，须提交经过中国驻外使领馆认证的在华事务委托书或在华监护人委托书等相关材料；

（六）《外国人体格检查表》和血液检查报告单扫描件；

（七）无犯罪记录证明。

注意：所有材料须清晰、真实、有效。建议申请人使用专业设备扫描需提交的有关文件，因上传材料不清晰或不可识别造成的后果由申请人承担。
